Dr. Moriconi
Today, Riccardo Moriconi successfully defended his PhD and passed his viva. Riccardo’s PhD research looked at high-dimensional optimization problems and how to address them. Specifically, he exploited a) structural assumptions via projections and quantile regression, b) latent embeddings of high-dimensional parameter spaces. Riccardo’s examiners were Aldo Faisal and Carl Henrik Ek.
Congratulations, Dr. Moriconi, and good luck on your way ahead!
Riccardo’s next stop is at Artificialy in Lugano.
